Join the Chehalis Land Trust team for a free, educational walk through Discovery Trail to watch, listen, and learn about birds of the Chehalis River ecosystem.
We recommend comfortable footwear, water, and a rain shell for this outing. If you would like to borrow raingear for the outing, just let us know!
This community event is free and open to the public. Details on parking and where to meet at the trail will be sent to all registered parties the week leading up to the event. RSVP below!
Directions:
Please drive in from Harrison Ave onto Goodrich Road. Follow Goodrich Road over a small bridge. You'll see signage for parking for Discovery Trail on the right side that requires a hike in. Go past it and drive along the road to the entry gate. Pass the gate and follow the signage into the park so we can get started closer to the river trail. Follow the signage until you see the old red barn and park there. If you have any questions or trouble finding it, please don't hesitate to contact us at outreach AT chehalislandtrust.org
***Be careful when using some mapping apps for directions. If you find yourself driving on the private property of a nearby farmer, you have taken a wrong turn. Please turn back and call or review the directions. I have found Google Maps to work well for directions to this park.
