Lands owned by the Land Trust

PORTER PARCEL: 0.3 acres on the shores of the Chehalis River in Porter, restored to native trees and shrubs in 2000.

KIMBER PARCEL: a 20 acre parcel in Grays Harbor County.  Porter Creek travels
through the parcel providing wonderful habitat for fish and wildlife.

SOUTH FORK NEWAUKUM PARCEL: 1.3 acres along the South

Fork Newaukum River, a stream with high water quality and good fish habitat.

BLACK RIVER FEE SIMPLE PARCEL: This 6 acre piece of land shows the effect of farming and neglect --

reed canary grass is a problem here.  But the parcel can be improved and already provides a link to other

lands on the Black River that are protected by organizations such as the State of Washington, the Nature

Conservancy, and the Capitol Land Trust.
