The conservation of this parcel protects approximately 50 acres along the

Chehalis River north of Centralia.  The site provides a habitat corridor with

open water, riparian zone, wetlands and upland features.  Mature black cottonwood are one out-standing feature.  The river provides habitat for anadromous and resident fish.
